The plain-words terms.
Thriving Musicians is run by James Grande. By buying or using it, you agree to these terms. Questions: james@jamesgrande.com.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase. No subscription, nothing renews, nothing to cancel. Unit 1 ($29) includes the 8 Unit 1 lessons and the Booking Email Pack. The full course ($179) includes all 31 lessons, every tool on the tools page and the Gig Ledger app. Lessons and tools added to your tier later come with it.
Your license
You get a personal license to use what you bought, for yourself, on your own devices, for as long as the site runs. The lessons, games, tools, text, sounds and logo belong to Thriving Musicians.
- Use your checklists, emails, setlists, invoices and rate cards in your own music business. That's what they're for.
- Don't share your access link or your login cookie, resell the course, or copy lessons or tools to post or sell somewhere else.
- Shared access can be turned off.
Your access link
After checkout you get an access link. It works on any device you own. Keep it private, like a password. If you lose it, email me and I'll help you get back in.
Education, not advice
Everything here is general education about running a music business. It is not financial, legal, tax, insurance or investment advice. Rules differ by state and by situation. Talk to a pro in your state (a CPA, an enrolled agent or a lawyer) before you act on anything about taxes, contracts, insurance or money.
Made-up scenarios
The games use made-up venues, people and money. Any resemblance to a real venue or person is a coincidence. Stories labeled as James's own are from his real gigs.
Your data and your work
Your progress, your tool entries and your Gig Ledger are saved on your own device. You're responsible for keeping copies of anything you need, like exporting your Gig Ledger CSV. See the privacy policy.
Refunds
Full refund within 30 days, no questions. See the refund policy.
No guarantees
I can't promise more bookings or more money. That depends on you, your market and your act. The site is provided as is. I work to keep it running and correct, but it may have mistakes or downtime. To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. What you already bought stays yours.
